As 2024 draws to a close, it’s a great time to reflect on what an incredible and busy year it has been. This year felt like a turning point for so many of us. With COVID-19 finally behind us and the excitement of a presidential election keeping conversations buzzing, there’s been no shortage of events to keep life interesting.
For us at U&K Salon, 2024 will always hold a special place in our hearts. On July 1st, we proudly opened our doors in the Brooklyn neighborhoods of Park Slope and Gowanus, officially becoming the area’s go-to Japanese hair salon. It’s been an amazing journey meeting wonderful clients, styling fresh looks, and becoming a part of this vibrant community.
On a personal note, my daughter turned one this year—a milestone that reminds me how quickly time flies and how precious each moment is. It’s been a busy, fulfilling year for sure, but as I look ahead to December, I can’t help but ask: “Have I accomplished everything I wanted to this year?”
